Our services are designed to help establish an affordable, effective presence on the web.

Web site development isn't rocket science, but it does take time and knowledge. Most small businesses need help in developing an effective web site.

Initial Consultation & Planning -- This is a no-obligation meeting where we discuss your web site needs.
Web Site Design & Development -- The process starts with a design concept for your review and approval. Then the web pages are developed, tested, and validated. The job is only complete once you have given your final approval. The process ends when the web pages are delivered to you.
Maintain Web Site -- Updating your web site with new content.
Setting up a domain name and web site hosting account -- I don't offer domain name registration or web site hosting services. There are many companies that can do that at a very reasonable price. But, I can help you through the domain name registration and setting up the web site hosting process.
Other services -- Developing web page content, integration with a shopping cart, uploading pages to the web site host, search engine submission.

Usability -- Meeting your target audiences wants and needs is key to an effective web site. The cost of using a 'high tech' usability lab and paid test subjects can be prohibitive to a small business owner. But, it is still possible to focus on usability for your web site using what I call 'low tech' usability methods. These methods can provide valuable feedback in helping to identify usability problems.
Search Engine Friendly -- Search engines look for certain things in a web site as they crawl the Internet. Making your web site "search engine friendly" improves your chances of getting a better ranking.
Design -- Help you design your site based on elements of an effective web site.
Project Management -- For larger projects, help you manage all aspects of the web site design and development project -- from the initial functional/design requirements to getting the site up and running.
Education -- Basic HTML (hypertext markup language) and CSS (cascading style sheet) classes for people that want to develop their own web site.
Presentations -- Presentation relating to small business web sites.
